Offical Soccer Mom!

Kya told me that the boys won't let her catch butterflies over the grass at recess because they were playing soccer. Oh! The joy of putting your kids into the social relm. I asked Kya if she wanted to play soccer...after a lot of coaxing and telling her that the boys who were 2 heads taller than her wouldn't be playing against her...she conceded. She is a doing great! This was video from her first game, and since she has been able to get the courage to get right in and kick the ball out of all those pile ups. She gets very excited when we cheer for her or when she kicks the ball but the games are long and all the kids can be overheard asking the coach if they can play goalie next! At her last game Jamey caught her galloping across the field like a horse, and later she told us she was pretending to be a mustang galloping with her herd. Wow!
